Annual Meeting for Teachers of Medical Statistics (Burwalls)

Monday 26 to Wednesday 28 June 2017, University Park, Nottingham

Our 2017 meeting will be held at the University of Nottingham’s beautiful University Park campus towards the west of the city. It is an opportunity to share and network with other teachers of medical statistics who teach undergraduate medical students and health professionals.

The conference will open on Monday 26 June at 12.30pm, and close at 12.30pm on Wednesday 28 June. A Programme will be available in the next few weeks and the conference is now open for booking and will remain open until Monday 15th May at 5pm.

Delegate packages available

Residential package – standard rate £275
-  includes:

  • Access to all three days of the conference
  • Delegate pack
  • Accommodation in a single study bedroom (inc. breakfast) at one of University’s Halls of Residence, Ancaster Hall on the nights of Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 June.
  • Refreshments and buffet lunch on each of the conference days
  • Conference dinner consisting of a three course dinner on Tuesday 27 June at the Bramley’s Brasserie in the Orchard Hotel, located in University Park, walking distance from the venue and accommodation. https://www.phcompany.com/de-vere/orchard/dining/

Non-residential package – standard rate £175 – 
includes:

  • Access to all three days of the conference
  • Delegate pack
  • Refreshments and buffet lunch on each of the conference days
  • The conference dinner on 27 June is optional for non-residential delegates and available at an additional cost of £26.00 per person

Payments:

Cancellations:
Those wishing to cancel prior to 15 May will be refunded the delegate fee. Cancellations made after this date will entail a 100% cancellation fee and no refund will be given.

Getting there:
Nottingham is easily accessible by train and coach. Frequent trains run direct from London St. Pancreas, Leicester, Derby, Sheffield and Birmingham, with connections to the north of England and Scotland and the South West. More information on train times and routes, see www.nationalrail.co.uk
Coaches arrive and depart from Broadmarsh bus station in the centre of the city and there are regular services to London, Derby and other destinations.

Car Parking:
Parking is free of charge for registered delegates who will be issued with a permit for the duration of the conference. Car parking requirements will be requested at the time of booking.
